How old do I have to be to come throw axes?
Minnesota Axe allows throwers as young as 14 years old! Please, also keep in mind that all throwers 14 to 17 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Parents/guardians must also sign a waiver for them.
What is AXEpected of me before I arrive?
Please take time to fill out our waiver online to expedite your throwing experience. We also require closed toed shoes to throw.
What if I just want to throw a few axes to try it?
We offer 30 minute walk-ins that are a great way to give axe throwing a try! This is $10 per person per 30 minutes.
What is the difference between a walk-in and a reservation?
During a walk-in an Axe Master will go over safety, how to throw, and how to score. You will then have 30 minutes to throw, with the potential to extend beyond that in 30-minute increments. A Reservation is a curated 2-hour event with a dedicated Axe Master. It entails safety, training, round-robin gameplay, and a final tournament.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel your event within 72 hours of booking, your deposit will be refunded.

We had a great Axe Master last time; can we request them for our next event?
We try our best to accommodate any requests for Axe Masters. If you have a request for an Axe Master, please let us know!
Do we tip our Axe Masters?
While tips are never expected, they are always appreciated by our wonderful Axe Masters.
Are food or drinks allowed inside the venue?
Yes! Each MN Axe site partners with a theatre to provide food and beverages, all of which are allowed in our venue! If you have an event and would like to order food and/or drink tickets ahead of time, please reach out to us!

Is it dangerous?
Sending you home with the same number of fingers and toes is our top priority! Our Axe Masters are trained to keep you safe, while still having a great experience.
Can I bring my own axe?
We provide all necessary equipment for your event. Any outside axes must be approved by management prior to throwing.
Who is allowed to join your leagues?
It does not matter if you’ve thrown 1 or 1,000 axes, our leagues are for everyone! We pride ourselves on the community that we are continuing to build with every new league season!
